configure® is like no game you've seen before. You will be surprised at how easy it is to play but scoring high is a different matter! Everyone can play configure® but it takes concentration to win!

Players increase their score by placing numerical tokens in straight lines, called runs, and in a specific sequence on the board (shown at left). Instructions on the board modify scores. Players compete by taking best advantage of the board instructions using the best combination of their tokens.

Each token must lie in sequence with all other tokens it is in contact with horizontally, vertically and diagonally. The sequence is: neighboring tokens must have the same value or differ by one. 0 can be placed next to 9. 9 can be flipped around to be 6 and vice versa. Where no match is possible, any token can be flipped over and used as a blank. Blanks score high!

The computer can automatically keep the score or you can work it out for yourself and let the computer check your answer—great for honing arithmetic dexterity!

configure® can be played without the board instructions, if desired. This makes the game easier because the scoring is much simplified but it's less challenging—great for young players!
